The Whitney Museum of American Art, 2001

A real-time digital graffiti wall is projected on the 1st floor. Anyone can access the website online to post text, words, ideas, poetry, rants, etc. into the Museum space at anytime of day.
Users bodies are tracked with cameras mounted overhead. Their movements trigger various sounds, shapes and colors that are online. This is projected in front of them allowing interaction. People interact and move through the projected text and colors and are visable to the user online via webcam. Therefore users online can silently communicate to people in the Museum.
