This was installed just days before September 11th 2001. A sense of innocent whimsy is visible
in the postings. I travelled to Venezuela just after Sept. 11th and installed the piece in Caracas -- where the atmosphere
was completely different and history had suddenly been rewritten. All of the text posted during the installation was archived for later viewing.
A Real-time digital graffiti wall is projected in the gallery space. Anyone can access the website online to post
text, words, ideas, poetry, rants, etc. onto the wall at anytime of day. People interact and move through the
projected text and are visable to the user online via webcam. Therefore users online can silently communicate to
people in the Gallery.
